changes in advertising

 advancements in technology have completely changed the way advertising works - traditional newspaper print, billboards and TV adverts are of course still around, but now a lot of advertising is done online. This can be in the 'banner' format, where an advert appears at the side or bottom of a webpage:





it can also be on social media - with the option to pay for advertising to ensure it reaches customers, or just by operating a social media page for the brand.






by operating on social media, customers are able to interact with the advertisements they are seeing by liking, commenting, sharing etc


they can also enhance their brand 'personality' by interacting with consumers.
