Zine pre- lockdown

here is my zine design that I was working on before uni shut. (Indesign Document)


















mock up of how the zine would look inside - the larger black and white pages were intended to be printed on a medium gsm, matte textured paper. The smaller pages, which focus on pieces of the designer's work, were intended to be printed on a medium gsm glossy magazine type paper. The separation in paper size and texture would have made the zine more interactive and exciting to handle.

The zine would be bound by stitching and would have a 'belt' around the outside which could be slipped off to open it up. The belt was to be printed on a thick matte gsm paper and display the title of the zine in my custom typeface. This is yet another element to make the zine interesting to handle.
